EXCELLERA ADVISORY GROUP: NEW HEADQUARTERS IN TORRE VELASCA

Leading corporate affairs group prepares for 2024 with relocation of Milan offices to iconic palazzo

Milan, 14 December 2023 – Torre Velasca, one of the iconic buildings on Milan’s skyline, will be the new headquarters of Excellera Advisory Group, Italy’s largest corporate affairs consultancy, born from the merger between Cattaneo Zanetto Pomposo & Co., Community and more recently Value Relations, with the support of Xenon Private Equity.

The choice of the Group’s founders fell on a prestigious location, a historic building that symbolises the rebirth and ongoing transformation of Milan: the Torre Velasca, in fact, built in record time in the second half of the 1950s, is now at the centre of a major urban regeneration project by Hines, as investor and developer, and the Asti Architetti studio in synergy with the Superintendency, inspired by the best ESG criteria, with an intervention that also involves the surrounding square of the same name.

The strategic location of the building, in the heart of the Lombard capital, together with the awareness of the historical and architectural role that the Tower also plays at an international level, were the reasons that led Excellera to choose it as its new headquarters to host the professionals of Cattaneo Zanetto Pomposo & Co., Community and Value Relations based in Milan, to which will be added the teams of some of the other companies that will soon join the Group.

The new premises will be distributed over two floors of the Torre Velasca, the tenth and fifteenth, for a total area of 1,500 square metres dedicated to executive offices and open space. The office will initially accommodate around 70 professionals – a number that is destined to grow as new companies join – who will be able to live in a working environment in line with the highest international standards of environmental sustainability and energy efficiency. The Tower’s focus on ESG criteria was another reason why Excellera chose it for its new offices, sustainability being in the Group’s DNA.

Excellera’s new headquarters inside the Tower were designed to strike a balance between traditional offices and the new work requirements that call for modular spaces, suitable for team work, to encourage the sharing and transfer of skills between different groups, but also for study and concentration. The modern and functional furnishing has been designed by the Paolo Frello & Partners architectural firm and will be a creative place and at the same time an ideal space to meet clients and guests in maximum comfort and privacy.

The Torre Velasca will join Excellera Advisory Group’s other offices in Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina in Rome, Piazza San Francesco in Treviso and Avenue Des Arts in Brussels.

Gianfranco Piras, Chairman of Excellera Advisory Group and Partner of Xenon said: “When we founded Excellera a year ago, we wanted to choose a name that best represented the companies DNA, combining two key words of our industrial project: excellence and acceleration. In just one year, we have achieved results that make us very proud: we will close 2023 with a turnover of more than €30 million, thanks to the work of a team of almost 160 professionals, spread across our offices in Rome, Milan, Treviso and Brussels, and more than 300 clients served. We recently welcomed Value Relations to the Group, and other companies will be added in the coming months. The decision to move to the Torre Velasca is another step forward: we are really happy to be able to inaugurate a space that will be the new home of excellence, that of all the people who work with us and that is reflected in the choice of this iconic location.”
