EXCELLERA INTELLIGENCE: DATA SCIENCE AND AI AT THE SERVICE OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS

Excellera Advisory Group, Italy’s leading Corporate affairs advisory group, is pleased to introduce Excellera Intelligence, a new company designed to deliver innovative data-driven services for reputation and government affairs analysis and management.

Based on the experience of INTWIG – a data intelligence firm founded by Aldo Cristadoro, which became part of the Group in September 2024 – and the joint efforts in recent months, the new company will serve as an accelerator of skills and services that span all the Excellera firms. As a result, the Group will be able to deliver evidence-based advisory services leveraging data and multidisciplinary task forces that will pool resources and expertise in different key domains, from PR to market research, from digital communication strategies to government relations.

The creation this new firm is part of the journey towards consolidation and growth of the Excellera project, which was launched in 2022 and now brings together Barabino & Partners, Cattaneo Zanetto Pomposo & Co., Community, INTWIG, Public Affairs Advisors and Value Relations with the support of Xenon Private Equity. In 2024, the Group had a turnover of 60 million euros, over 300 employees, and has strengthened its presence on international markets thanks to six offices in the main European cities and in NYC.

Excellera Intelligence will also boost the Group’s technological innovation to ensure cutting-edge, AI-based advisory services for businesses and top managers, providing a tangible solution to the ongoing shift towards data-driven corporate affairs. Indeed, now more than ever, reputation management and government relations need to be based on measurable metrics, and can be made more valuable through data interpretation, customised research, supported by increasingly sophisticated monitoring systems.

To this end, using an innovative approach to generative AI, Excellera Intelligence will provide bespoke tools and services to leverage the pool of available data, which will feed the Group’s own ‘data lake’, a centralised repository owned by Excellera, from which it will be possible to identify associations and process large sets of information. These multi-channel analysis results will be used to drive strategic and operational choices, communications and engagement campaigns, in order to steadily align the company’s targets with the needs of a fast-changing market.

Reputation & Media Intelligence

Excellera Intelligence brings a cutting-edge approach to reputation assessment and management by continuously and systematically monitoring all the assets that contribute to reputation. By integrating multiple sources – including press monitoring, websites, social media, surveys, economic data and legislative monitoring – Excellera Intelligence develops a platform that gathers information and provides an interactive, unique and integrated insight into companies’ and executives’ reputations. The measurement model, developed through proprietary algorithms, will make it possible to identify opportunities and threats in real time, providing a solid scientific basis for consistent, rigorous and effective communications and stakeholder engagement strategies.

Market and opinion research

Excellera Intelligence is specialising in carrying out ground-breaking analyses aimed at the implementation of communications and advocacy strategies. Tailor-made research detects the population’s behaviour and opinions and examines market trends by analysing publicly available data, running international surveys and consumer research. The findings can also be combined with web listening and press monitoring analysis, thus making it possible to draw back increasingly thorough research that mirrors what different target audiences perceive.

Legislative Monitoring

Using artificial intelligence, Excellera Intelligence provides sophisticated and swift legislative monitoring services, delivering real-time reports through a purpose-built platform. The platform’s work, combined with that of the consultants, provides accuracy, speed and enhanced analytical capabilities, as well as a deeper understanding of the political and institutional context.

Paolo Zanetto, CEO of Excellera Advisory Group and Partner of Cattaneo Zanetto Pomposo & Co., said: ‘Innovation is dramatically changing our job dynamics. We are proud to be investing in technology to help transform the way we work, improving the services we provide to our clients, as well as our internal processes. AI can revolutionise the way we work, but it cannot do so without the vital contribution of people who know how to bring it into everyday life. People and skills will always be the core value of Excellera’s growth.’

Aldo Cristadoro, CEO of Excellera Intelligence, added: ‘I am delighted to announce the launch of Excellera Intelligence, a new company founded on the recognition that AI is reshaping Corporate affairs and that it can open up new strategic opportunities for businesses. In just a few months since joining the Group, we have already achieved a major technological transformation that enables us to support our clients as strategic partners, by identifying and analysing information that really makes a difference in their business. Our vision is to combine the power of data with a deep understanding of the context, thanks to all the top-level skills that coexist within Excellera, which will enable us to scale international markets all the more.’
